Leadership. Strategy. Diversity. Inclusion.

A clear and transparent governance structure that provides opportunities for all members to have a say.

National Board

The key to governance is having a diverse set of voices with a diverse range of expertise. That’s why our national board of directors will be comprised of representatives from every state and territory, selected for their strategic approach to complex challenges.

Roles and responsibilities:

  • Governance and accountability
  • Vision and strategic direction
  • Shapes industry through policy

State advisory boards

We know how important it is to have the support of someone locally. Someone who understands the issues and has the right contacts. That’s why our national board will be underpinned by state and territory advisory boards and regional directors.

  • Member support and engagement
  • Policy formation and representation
  • Government and stakeholder relations
  • Strategic and operational advice

Steering Committees

Standing committees help to improve product and service delivery, give credibility to our policy and advocacy activities, and allow members to shape the direction of their industry -- and of the AMCA. Committee members are selected for their subject matter expertise and are supported by the AMCA team.

Examples include:

  • Health and safety
  • Training, learning, and development
  • Regulation
  • Service and maintenance
  • Workplace relations
